18 – The Flowers, cards and toys in memory of Henry Vincent
I think in this podcast thing, I said the flowers were left for Richard. I meant to say Henry Vincent.
In this, I basically suggest that the flowers and stuff are to intimidate the locals on the street, and one suspects that the locals fear going out.
I then go on to suggest that flowers and stuff left for anyone serve very little purpose, and that those left on roads simply look like a pile of rubbish, especially after a day or two as the flowers begin to rot away and everything ends up covered in dirt.
